Abandoned UFO Houses

What you can see listed here are incredible images of the abandoned housing complex known as San Zhi close to Taipei, Taiwan. It had been apparently constructed in the early 1980s as being a group of holiday family homes promoted towards wealthier Taipei citizens desiring to escape the town. The rumors about the reason why the location was left behind varies, with the most intriguing being that the number of lethal accidents took place while in building, resulting in residents to think the location was haunted, and so instigating the developer's determination to quit building. The houses hardly ever truly became popular in terms of preferred living places, however they did turn into a bit of a tourist magnet for a long time.
Unfortunately the structures were demolished in 2010, yet a large collection of photos displaying the fantastical house complex continue to lives on Flickr .
